National Sports Observatory

The National Sports Observatory is a Tunisian public institution affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, established in 2003. It is an official body responsible for monitoring and analyzing the state of sports in Tunisia, both nationally and internationally, with the aim of developing the sports sector.

Scientific conferences
Scientific conferences consist of organizing meetings and seminars aimed at presenting and discussing research and exchanging knowledge and experiences among specialists.

The training consists of organizing training courses and programs aimed at developing skills and enhancing competencies in the sports field.

Research and studies consist of completing and analyzing scientific work aimed at understanding the sporting reality and proposing solutions for its development.

General Administration

The Director General of the National Sports Observatory manages the institution in accordance with the directives of the supervisory authority, relying on the advice of the Board of Directors and the Scientific Council. They oversee the development of programs and the budget, ensure coordination between the various departments, and manage human resources. They also represent the Observatory and work to develop cooperation with national and international organizations, conclude agreements and contracts, draft annual reports, and supervise the implementation of studies, research, and training programs.
Scientific Council
The mission of the Scientific Council is to provide scientific and technical advice, define research and activity objectives, monitor and evaluate projects, review applications for grants and internships, and submit recommendations to the Minister of Sport for the development of the sector.
Administrative Council
The board's responsibilities include issuing advice on the proposed budget, financial statements and activity reports, reviewing transactions, reviewing purchases, transfers and the acceptance of donations, and deliberating on administrative and disposition matters presented by the chief executive.

Tenders are formal procedures aimed at selecting the best suppliers or partners to carry out projects or provide services according to standards of transparency and competition.

The library is a space dedicated to the collection and organization of scientific sources, references and documents that support research and knowledge in the field of sport.

The National Observatory of Sport is a public institution dedicated to monitoring, analyzing, and developing the sports field through research and studies, statistical collection, and the organization of training and scientific forums to support decision-making and promote sports excellence.
