General Directorate
The General Director manages the institution in accordance with the guidelines of the supervisory authority and the opinions of the competent councils, and is specifically responsible for:
● Proposing the internal regulations of the Observatory and submitting them for approval.
● Establishing activity programs and implementation plans.
● Preparing the annual budget and ensuring its execution.
● Managing the administrative and technical affairs of the staff.
● Ensuring overall coordination between the various departments of the Observatory.
● Legally representing the Observatory in all forums and legal proceedings.
● Submitting periodic annual reports to the supervisory authority.
● Developing research partnerships and cooperation at national and international levels.
● Concluding deals and agreements in accordance with current legislation.
● Signing contracts for experts and researchers to conduct scientific studies.
The National Observatory of Sport is a public institution dedicated to monitoring, analyzing, and developing the sports field through research and studies, statistical collection, and the organization of training and scientific forums to support decision-making and promote sports excellence.
